LONDON 2012 OLYMPIC AQUATIC CENTRE – Client – Rowecord Engineering Ltd

ProAltus Industries Ltd are proud to have been involved with the 2012 Olympics. ProAltus provided a team of access technicians to assist with the painting and testing of structural bolts and plates on the upper and lower boom of the Aquatic Stadium. Due to the ongoing works at ground level it was not possible to complete the painting with conventional access methods. Our team was able to access all areas using rope access techniques and apply a 2 part epoxy resin with primer. On completion of the painting our team carried out the thickness gauging of all paint administered.

PADSTOW CORNWALL, RNLI Lift Install – Client – Alimak Hek

Working in a stunning setting ProAltus assisted with the decommissioning and replacement of the existing lift mechanism. With conventional access not suitable our team completed the necessary work on time and on budget.

MARYLEBONE SCHOOL, LONDON – Client – Bouygues UK

With access a problem due to narrow London side streets and the cost of scaffolding disproportionate to the decorating budget, ProAltus were asked to complete 2 sides of the school’s external refurbishment. With opening dates fast approaching our team completed the works which involved 2 coats of high trade gloss to 70 windows and 2 coats of masonry paint to all external facades within 2 weeks, on time and on budget.

PARK PLAZA HOTEL, LONDON – Client - GEAR Construction

ProAltus provided a team of access technicians to paint numerous steel supports within 2, twelve floor internal courtyards. With the scaffolding already struck the only way to access the supports was via rope access techniques through the roof opening prior to closure. The techs abseiled down to the supports and attached directly in order to pull themselves to the wall joints. The job was completed well in advance of the clients expectations.
