“This project was exactly the kind of live, high-risk environment where control and planning matter most. Our team delivered the works by rope access, removed immediate hazards, and left the building safer for ongoing maintenance.”

ProAltus delivered a full upgrade of permanent roof-access and fall-protection measures at a multi-level commercial property in the City of London, replacing legacy access elements and improving safety across a complex roof layout.

Appointed by the property management team, we removed unsafe timber steps and outdated ladders, then installed a permanent access solution with new galvanised fixed ladders, improved transition points between levels, and non-penetrative guardrails to protect exposed edges.

All works were delivered in line with the Work at Height Regulations 2005 and relevant British Standards, providing a durable, compliant arrangement for routine maintenance access—completed on programme and without incident.
