ProAltus was appointed by Discovery Project Management to extend fire rated debris netting protection across the remaining elevations of Campden Hill Towers in Notting Hill Gate, London, building on netting the company had previously installed to the building's South elevation.

Following a detailed site review with the client's appointed fire consultant, the scope was developed to achieve full encapsulation of the building. This covered the North elevation's 80 windows, balcony wrapping to the Northeast, a full flank section to the Northwest, and further coverage across the South, Southeast and Southwest elevations, including corner and vertical panel areas identified as high risk. Bespoke fire rated netting was manufactured to match the building's existing installation, supplied in white to EN13501 standard.

With no fixed anchor points available on the building, ProAltus's IRATA trained rope access team carried out a full netting survey using portable dead weight anchors, before installing a cable system and fitting the netting itself. Works were carried out within managed seclusion zones to protect residents and the public below, and coordinated around the building's live mobile phone antennae throughout.

The result is a fully encapsulated building with a consistent, certified debris netting system across every elevation. Since handover, ProAltus has continued to support Campden Hill Towers with annual inspections, keeping the system certified and in good condition.
