Rope Access Signage Rebrand - Global Professional Services Firm

Nationwide

Client Logo

“Every sign sat at height above glazing, louvres and busy public routes, so our rope access team planned each install around safe access, controlled drop zones and verified fixings, and delivered the new branding without disruption to the occupied buildings.”

ProAltus was appointed by Cobal Sign Systems to deliver the high-level external signage replacement for a global professional services firm’s regional offices in Bristol, Birmingham and Bradford, as part of the client’s national rebrand.

Working to Cobal’s approved design drawings, the scope covered removal of the existing logos and lettering, cleaning and making good of the retained backing panels, and installation of new built-up aluminium logos alongside illuminated lettering fitted with LEDs and opal acrylic faces. In Bristol, the client opted for a full replacement of the illuminated lettering, so ProAltus arranged independent structural calculations to confirm the existing framework and fixings could safely carry the new signage under wind loading before installation began.

ProAltus’s IRATA trained rope access team carried out the works from parapet and roof level, with sign panels brought down and refitted at roof level where safe to do so. Each logo was set out using templates to match the drawings, existing cabling was re-routed to suit the new letter positions, and illumination was connected and tested with the client’s electrician. All works were carried out under the building owners’ permit-to-work procedures, within managed exclusion zones to protect occupants and the public below.

The result is consistent, fully illuminated new branding across multiple high-level elevations, with documented fixing verification and completion reports supporting the long-term safety of each installation.
